Constraint was founded in 2011 as a symphonic metal cover band. Their first original release is the demo "Illusion of a Dream" (2012), followed by their first full-length "Enlightened by Darkness" in 2016.
After an important line-up change in 2018, Constraint released the single "The Big (B) End" in June 2019, then the second single "Golden Threads" and a cover of "Slave" by Leprous. They began a Kickstarter campaign to fund their second album which was released in 2020 with new songs featuring a musical and stylistic maturity seasoned with progressive undertones.

Singer
Born in Modena in 1995, she is the founder, singer and lyricist of Constraint. She completed her University studies in Foreign Languages and Literatures and she graduated in Classical Singing. She works currently as singer in various projects, as singing teacher and as image consultant (she got her certification in Image Consulting in 2021).
Violinist
Born in Reggio Emilia in 1993, he joined the band during the first album's recordings. He graduated in violin with full marks at "Achille Peri" conservatory, under the guidance of maestro Alessandro Ferrari.
Guitarist
Born in Modena in 1994, he joined the band after the first album's release. He gratuated with full marks and honors at Modern Music Institute and he is now working as a professional musician.
Drummer
Born in Reggio Emilia in 2000, he joined Constraint after the first album's release and he's the youngest member of the band. He's currently attending university.
Bassist
Born in Reggio Emilia in 1997, he studied bass and cello. He graduated in Computer Engineering and he's currently completing his master's degree in Milan.
